Classroom: There is no classroom associated with this course, it is conducted entirely on the riding range.

Pre-Requisites: In order to be eligible to take the Introduction to the Basic Rider Course (BRC) students must meet the following criteria:
- Must have valid Illinois Drivers License.
- You must obtain a motorcycle permit before attending class! This
permit is easily obtained by going to any Illinois Secretary of State
facility and passing a 15-question written exam. You may obtain a
FREE booklet Illinois Motorcycle Operator Manual (PDF format) that
has all the information you need to pass your permit exam. Upon
passing the exam, you will be issued a motorcycle permit allowing
you to ride only during daylight hours, under the direct supervision of
a licensed motorcycle operator. All students MUST bring this
permit, or a class "M" driver's license to attend classes - no
exceptions.
- All fees fro MRS must be paid in full at the time of registration - no
exceptions.

- All students must know how to ride a bicycle. If it has been a long
time, we encourage you to brush up on your skills before attending
class.
