CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is provided by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation® is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System

(MSF RETS). RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches

and other trainers. MSF also actively participates in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns and the provision of technical assistance to state training and licensing programs.
The MSF is the standard in motorcycle training in the United States, as well as other parts of the world. The research based curriculum is the only one of its kind. If a school is not teaching the MSF curriculum, it is not approved or supported by the motorcycle industry or major insurance carriers. Our instructors are all MSF certified RiderCoaches.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINERS
MRS staff has over 85 years combined riding experience. All RiderCoaches come to MRS with a minimum of 5 years riding experience, and go on to obtain two separate training certifications, attend professional development workshops, and constantly work on sharpening current riding skills. Founder Sarah Lahalih has put in over 350 hours of certification training alone.
EQUIPMENT
Our motorcycles are new machines. All are required to pass an IDOT safety inspection every 6 months. All motorcycles adhere to a strict maintenance schedule. Our motorcycles vary in size, and seat height, in order to accommodate a variety of riders. MRS furnishes full face helmets for all students. Full face helmets offer the most protection, covering the chin nose and eyes. Helmets are replaced every season, and no helmet is reused after any impact.
FACILITIES
Our Classroom/Office is a duplex timber Soho-esque loft located near Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. The multimedia classroom is combined with a retail boutique displaying high end motorcycle apparel, and vintage motorcycles. Our enclosed newly paved riding range located near the United Center, spans over 400 feet long and can accommodate up to 12 riders at one time. It is equipped with restroom facilities, and is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and cafes.

HAPPY RIDERS
"Your program was fantastic and even better, the instructors did, and do a marvelous job teaching in such a short time frame. Both were clear with instructions and even clear with needed corrections when riders were having problems. Your program came highly recommended to me, and I, in turn will tell all I know about it. Please commend you instructors for me, and all the others who passed on 10/10. We could have never done that without them!"
"This was an excellent course, especially for a beginner. The instructors were very clear in giving directions, very patient, and very safety oriented. It was both informative and fun.
MRS was a great experience for me even though I have ridden bikes for years. I learned things I didn't know and it will help me be a more cautious driver. I would recommend this course to anyone thinking about getting on a bike."
"I think the course was extremely informative from the lecture to the road course. Time was really spent to not only learn, but to understand situations, procedures are everything. It almost felt like I was one with the instructor instead of a class. The instructor was fantastic and very in depth."
"A worth while investment; I would recommend [this course] to more experienced weekend riders as well."
"[The] class helped point out some of my bad habits. I learned to eliminate these habits and have learned to operate my motorcycle properly and more safely."
"I laughed, I cried, it was better that cats."

"The instructors were knowledgeable, positive, supportive, and clearly love what they do, this made the class very enjoyable. I couldn't have had a better experience."
"Excellent course! [It] met all of my expectations. [The] instructors were knowledgeable, experienced, constructive, and friendly. This course should be mandatory for all riders."
"I enjoyed the fact that [the class] was taught by women (like me). It made the experience more personal. Friendly and informative instructors, makes you feel they are concerned about you. [I] loved the course will definitely recommend [it]."
